About Me and This Blog
Welcome!
I am beginning this blog with hope of sharing my knowledge and insight to the world of art. I myself am an artist and have devoted most of my life to studying and practicing art. I feel I have something to give in the way of learning and experience and am gearing this blog to be educational and instructional, as well as practical and useful for anyone interested in art. Therefore I will try to keep it simple and easy to understand while at the same time give the reader a comprehensive and in-depth look at art through the ages, the creative process, and the function of art through history; its value, purpose, and meaning. I will use examples of my own artwork as well as others. I hope you will be able to learn and more appreciate art through my efforts here, if so then I shall have achieved my purpose and be happy! I will try to keep the posts interesting and informative and invite any questions or feedback. Since art is such a broad topic the structure I use will be loose and I will probably jump around talking about alot of different things. If you have anything in general or specific you would like to know about please let me know and I'll do my best to answer. This blog is intended for all ages, anyone with an interest in art.
